Our Minimum Requirements Have Changed For Receiving A Donated Item Which is Below

Facts About Us

Did you know thru throughout our 2014 and 2015 work cycle we had collected 947 lbs of PCs (Desktops Towers) enough to fill 2 full-size computer workshop classrooms?
We had a total of 38 PC's all together and 3 Servers

We do Recycle Computers we are unable to use properly thru local PC Shops

Desktop Towers and Laptops of any model with an Intel or AMD Dual-Core Processor or higher.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We accept Older Macs and Macbooks with Intel Processors or higher.

We accept iPhones, iPod Touches, and iPads that operate to iOS 8 or 9 and higher.


We accept Android Phones and Tablets that run 5.1.1 (Lolipop) and higher.

 

(We do not sadly donate older iPads or tablets due to not having access to assistive technology apps for non-verbal children with autism)

We Also Accept Game Consoles such as PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii, Wii U

we also accept Handheld Consoles Such as PSP, PS Vita, Nintendo DS, and other console devices.

 

 

 

We do Accept PC's Running any of these Operating Systems
By Law, we are not allowed to accept CRT Monitors or Printers
Please let us know what you will be donating to us before dropping it off as it does cost us money to dispose of items such as this thru the Town of Braintree, MA, 
We will be using Neverware's Chromium OS as an alternative operating system for older pieces of equipment over the Windows Operating System to help simplify the usage of older hardware for our children's education and social skills to use in an easy to learn environment which is 100% free to use which allows us to transform old PC's into Chromebooks which helps the increase of PC's up for donation to a child in need.

Kit Donations Provided By

At the beginning of 2017, the Raspberry Pi company known as Kano Computing Donated 10 of the Raspberry Pi 1 kits to us as a token of kindness and to spread awareness of their awesome product for educating young minds into the world of computing.

Our Donation Drop Off Locations

Our Donation Drop-off Location for the Boston Area is at 
New Age Computer Service on 68 Hancock St Braintree, MA between Monday Thru Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm and Saturdays between 10 am to 2 pm


 
 
 
 
All Donations are screened and processed to ensure proper recycling and PC placements to our program for the proper refurbishing of donated equipment we no longer take donations at our headquarters due to limited space  

Please keep in mind if you are donating an older PC that is not within our system requirements and still choose to have it recycled you may be charged with a disposal fee for it to be recycled for set items 

All Donations that we are unable to use due to not being non-functional  being out of date or repairs we can't simply afford to fix will be brought to be recycled at

As an out of the pocket organization, we do rely on funds given by generous people in the commuinty as well as PC sales to help refurbish and rebuild PC's to donate to those in need if you like please make a donation to help us keep buying parts to build and refurbish computers for a child's education and social life.

Consider donating to our Venmo to help out our cause we are also using it for PC purchases due to COVID-19.
